The Chemical Industry Federation has begun Collective Bargaining Negotiations

Negotiations with the Industrial Union began on Friday, October 11th and negotiantions with the Trade Union Pro began on Monday, October 14th. Negotiations with the Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff (YTN) will begin in December. 

The negotiations that started on Friday the 11th concern the collective agreements for the basic chemical industry, the plastic and the chemical products industry, as well as the oil, natural gas, and petrochemical industries. The current agreements on these sectors will expire on December the 31st 2024.  

Negotiations starting on Monday , October 14th concern the salaried employees in the chemical sector. The current agreement on this sector will expire on December 31st 2024.

The agreement for senior salaried employees will expire on January 31st 2025. 

The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland is negotiating a total of 18 collective agreements for workers, salaried employees, and senior salaried employees.

These agreements cover approximately 45,000 employees in the sector.
