Hanna Maula Appointed Chairperson of the Chemical Industry Federation’s Communications Committee

Hanna Maula, Vice President of Communications and Brand at Neste, will assume the role of Chairperson of the Communications Committee at the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland starting January 1, 2025.

Maula has extensive international experience in leading communications. She has worked in communications for companies like Elcoteq, Aalto University, and UPM, and as a communications consultant through her own company in Silicon Valley, USA. She has previously worked at Neste as Communications Manager and Director from 2009 to 2012 and began her current role as VP Communications and Brand at Neste in the summer of 2024.

As Chairperson of the Communications Committee, Maula aims to enhance the visibility and recognition of the chemical industry.

“The chemical industry is one of Finland’s most significant industrial sectors, and the Communications Committee plays a vital role in increasing its visibility and bringing its perspectives to the forefront”, says Maula.

“Together we will continue the excellent work already being done and seek new ways to make an impact and engage in dialogue with various stakeholders.”

Hanna Maula has previously been involved in the Communications Committee during her earlier tenure at Neste. Upon returning to Neste in the summer of 2024, she also rejoined the committee as the company’s representative.
