Negotiation result reached on the collective agreement in the chemical sector

The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland and Trade Union Pro have reached a negotiation result today, 24 February, regarding the collective agreement in the chemical sector.

The negotiation result is still subject to approval by the governing bodies of both unions.

Details of the agreement will be provided after the administrative review.

The negotiating parties are pleased that a resolution has been reached. The successful outcome was supported by the parties’ good and trust-based negotiation culture, which also contributed to the fact that no significant labor disputes occurred in the sector during this round of negotiations.

The collective agreement in the chemical sector covers approximately 9,000 employees.
