The Helsinki Chemicals Forum 2021 conference as a virtual event 27-28 April
The Helsinki Chemicals Forum 2021 conference will be organized as a virtual event instead of a physical one. The decision is due to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic situation and international travel restrictions, that greatly affect the possibility of international visitors to participate in the event. The Helsinki Chemicals Forum will take place on 27 and 28 April 2021.
The Helsinki Chemicals Forum has successfully established its place as the leading forum for promoting chemical safety and analysing different problem areas over the years.
As before, the programme of 2021 HCF is built around keynote introductory speeches and five discussion panels. In total 35 top class speakers from EU and third countries will take part. The five topics that are relevant to all practitioners of chemicals regulation are the forthcoming ICCM-5, green chemicals policy, transparency & risk communication, safer substitution and spotlight on textiles. UNEP, the European Commission, ECHA, OECD and Chemical Watch will moderate these panels. The host of the event will be Irene van Luijken, Cefic Project Director.
